SafeWork NSW is the state’s workplace health and safety regulator, focussing on harm prevention and improving the safety culture in NSW workplaces. They offer advice on improving work health and safety, provide licencing and registration for potentially dangerous work, provide testing services, investigate workplace incidents and enforce work health and safety laws in NSW.

Apprenticeships and traineeships combine paid work and structured training. They allow you to learn a trade or workplace skill and receive a nationally accredited qualification.
Australian Apprenticeships are the best way to combine training and employment and they can lead to a nationally recognised qualification. Australian Apprenticeships are available to anyone of working age and do not require any entry qualifications. Australian Apprentices are available to school-leavers, those re entering the workforce or those wishing to change careers.
Australian Apprenticeship Support Network
The Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (Apprenticeship Network) replaced Australian Apprenticeships Centres nationally on 1 July 2015. Apprenticeship Network providers will provide advice and support services tailored to the needs of employers and apprentices throughout the apprenticeship lifecycle – from pre-commencement to completion.
